About Me
- Rachel Rose
- I have been teaching for ten years and love expanding the horizons of young people. I am currently working at The Schoolhouse, a K-6 parent-teacher co-op in South Burlington, Vermont. I hold a BA in elementary education and a Masters in reading education. In the winter, I ride my snowboard and hike in the woods with my dog. In the spring, summer, and fall, I work the land, do outdoor projects, and garden...well, mini-farm. I also hike/backpack and dabble in mountain biking, rock climbing, and kayaking. I hold certifications in CPR and First Aid (American Red Cross), as well as Wilderness First Aid (SOLO). Northern Vermont is home, where I constantly bliss out on the beauty of my surroundings.
